The Residence Inn Chicago Downtown/Loop is an outstanding choice if you’re in Chicago.

There’s no need to head to The Residence Inn Chicago Downtown/Loop with a desperate urge to leave the property.

It was my birthday week and my first time visiting Downtown Chicago, and I could not wait to indulge in what the City had to offer. After all, it was my birthday week, and selecting the right hotel was crucial. Fortunately, I made the right choice with The Residence Inn Chicago Downtown/Loop, and I have to tell you all about it.

It is true; Chicago is an evolving and industrious city that is known for its many innovations. Like its many nicknames, “The Second City” implies, Chicago is best known for its natural history and architecture, to creative endeavours. I guess this is why this location is the world’s largest Residence Inn with its Four-Diamond service and contemporary extended-stay suites.

Firstly, checking in was easy, and the staff at the front desk was exceptionally accommodating.

Featuring a 380-guest suite, the attention to detail will awaken your senses. The hallway throughout the lobby is arched massively with crystal chandeliers. The hotel is also equipped with five separate elevators to access the front desk seamlessly.

Best room?

Of the many things that impressed me about my room is the cleverly designed and exceptional functionality of the room. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, electric stovetop, microwave, and a dishwasher. Yes! A dishwasher. It certainly felt like home. The bathroom is designed beautifully with marble interior with a power shower strong enough to make you feel unstoppable. The bed and pillows are potentially the comfiest you’ll ever sleep on during your time at the Loop.

If you want to go large, check yourself and the family or perhaps some friends into the two-bedroom suite that has some of the best views of the City. If you want to go larger, then there is the 2000sqft/180sqm three-bedroom penthouse suite, which boasts the soundproof windows, dining area, living room, or a fully equipped kitchen only to name a few. You can check out the other categories of room here.

After a day amidst the hustle and bustle of the city, The Residence Inn Chicago Downtown/Loop (centrally located in the heart of the Chicago Loop area, just one block from CIBC Theatre near Millennium Park, McCormick Place, Bank of America Theatre.) is an oasis of calm amidst the beautiful hub. This hotel will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Yes, you should consider this hotel your new home away from home. If you want to feel like royalty, this is the hotel to stay the next time you are in the Downtown Chicago area. My only regret is that I never stayed longer.
